Jane was a professional cattle photographer, a color and image consultant. She was owner of Nash Originals, a western shirt company,which she changed over to a commercial kitchen. Still named Nash Originals where gift box components are made. She works part time in an accountants office in Coldwater. Mike and Jane are busy folks but will always have time to visit about cattle and ranching.

Mike and Jane are Animal Science graduates from Oklahoma State University. They were both on the OSU Livestock Judging Team.
Mike has had many positions; Show cattle herdsman for Turner Ranch, Beef Superintendent for OSU, Manager of Higgins Herefords at Nowata,OK. Worked for Middleswarth Herefords in Wyo, and was Manager of LeForce Herefords at Nash OK. He is currently retired from the Comanche County Extension Agency and full-time on the Deewall Ranch.
They went on their own in 1998 at Mike's family ranch south of Coldwater, KS. that has been in the family since 1892.
Daughter, Dr. Kelly Deewall DVM is currently a veterinarian with the Ashland Veterinary Center at Ashland, KS. Located 30 miles to the west of Coldwater. Kelly looking over the herd of registered Deewall cattle. The herd that she will carry on.
